The Rs 995 plan from Airtel will compete against the Rs 999 plan from Reliance Jio. Under the Rs 995 plan, Reliance Jio offers unlimited local and STD calling with 100 SMS per day. The plan will also offer 60GB data with no daily FUP limit and it comes with a validity of 90 days. Along with the above mentioned benefits, the plan also offers free access to all the Jio apps.

Earlier this year, Airtel revamped its Rs 199, Rs 448 and Rs 509 prepaid plans. The service provider is now offering more data under all the three plans. Earlier, with the same plans users used to get 1GB data per day and now they are eligible to 1.4GB data per day.
The service provider is offering unlimited local and STD calls, 100 local and national SMS per day under the above mentioned plans. The Rs 199 plan comes with a validity of 28 days and the Rs 448 and Rs 509 packs are valid for the 82 days and 90 days respectively.
The telco is now giving 39.2GB data in the Rs 199 pack instead of the 28GB. Similarly, the Rs 448 pack gives 114.8GB data which is higher than the 82GB data offered before. And the Rs 509 plan offers 126GB data which is more than the 90GB data which was offered earlier.
