As the nation bids adieu to its favourite actress Sridevi, her fans and her colleagues from various film industries are still coming to terms with the tragic loss.
Stars from the Tamil and Telugu film industries also paid their last respects to Sridevi on February 28, the day that marked her funeral.
Superstar Rajinikanth who flew to Mumbai on February 26 to meet Sridevi’s family, gave up his age-old tradition as a mark of respect for his ‘dear friend’.
Rajinikanth and his wife, Latha Rajinikanth, got married on February 26, 37 years ago.
All these years, Rajinikanth has made it a point to celebrate his wedding anniversary along with his daughters, Aishwaryaa and Soundarya, and their extended family.
It was even said that Rajini was going to keep himself free on that day so that he could get some time to spend with his daughters and grandchildren.
However, Rajinikanth’s 37th wedding anniversary did not turn out the way he had planned it to. He decided to call off the wedding anniversary celebrations as his entire family is in mourning for Sridevi.
